How do I restore a backup?
There are two ways you can restore a backup (depending on how you created the backup):
Please be aware that restoring a backup will overwrite (delete) any existing notes you have on your device, replacing them with the notes from the backup.
Local Backup
- Go to the Squid settings and tap Backup and restore
- Tap Local backup
- Tap Restore backup
- Choose a backup file to restore from your device or app (such as Google Drive)
- Tap Restore
Cloud Backup
- Go to the Squid settings and tap Backup and restore
- Tap Cloud backup
- Tap Storage providers and choose Google Drive, Dropbox, or Box and sign in
- Tap back and then tap Restore backup
If a list of backups appears, choose the appropriate one and then choose Restore
Note: Each backup corresponds to the value of the Cloud folder setting on the device when the backup was created.
